Manufacturing Process

As an experienced protective film supplier, through continuous equipment transformation and technological innovation, we have been providing customers with appropriate protective film solutions in the past few decades. We has established a comprehensive manufacturing system and quality management system. We have sufficient confidence and ability to meet the needs of global customers. Please find a quick sketch of our manufacturing process for your reference.

Before formal production:

  1. We insist on purchasing 100% new PE film according to the requirements and specifications specified in your order and refuse to use recycled film.
  2. We will perform an incoming quality test on each lot (dimension and elongation check for film raw materials and relative assessment for PSAs)  before storage.

Mass production:

Printing: If a customized logo or design is needed, printing is the first step of our production. 90% of our customers will choose printed film, as it could not only highlights their brand but also help to enhance your product image. Changsheng is equipped with 2 printing machines and could offer max 8 colors to meet your printing demands. We would record printing sample for each client, which provide the basis for the color consistency of subsequent orders.

Composite: our protective film is a double-layer composite structure. We will laminate the finished printing film with the second film. The advantage of this structure could help to keep the custom logo integrity. As it is kept in the middle of two films, the printing would not be affected by the subsequent process.

Coating: Glue coating is the most important step in the whole production. We have the ability to make glue, which enables us to have quick actions to the requirements of sticky adjustments. We would check the corona of the film before coating and perform corona treatment If necessary. Then we will proceed with coating strictly in accordance with the standardized operation procedure and record the production data.

Rewinding and slitting: process jumbo rolls into small rolls as specified size.

After production:

Testing: Our inspectors will perform appearance checks, dimension checks, initial adhesion tests, 180 °peeling force tests at random 3 samples per lot according to our company standard, and make records of testing results.

Only qualified protection film which passed internal inspection can be shipped.

Packing: We have dozens of cartons of different sizes to meet the packing needs. Customers can also appoint to use blank cartons or custom cartons to load our films. The final product will be shipped out on a suitable pallet and reinforced by stretch film.

Delivery: We would double-check quantity and shipping details and deliver the goods required by the customer.

In order to achieve traceability, each roll has a code on the inside of the paper core, which can be used for tracing production details and linking other interior data. It is not only beneficial to internal production management but also helps to take measures at an instance if a problem occurs.
